HELLO!! I’M TRYING TO DO SOMETHING NICE FOR MY MUM!!

the cheesecake shop on facebook is holding a competition to find australia’s sweetest mum. and i think mine deserves a fair go. she’s been through a lot lately but has always put my familys needs before her own, despite juggling being a mother with a full time job and studying full time at university to get a teaching degree so she could get ANOTHER JOB working with kids like she always wanted.

the major prize is something like $5000 worth of goods, and it would be incredible if i could give her this back for mothers day instead of a scratch lottery ticket and a dollar card. i’m insnanely poor what with being a uni student and i could never afford to give her ANYTHING like this prize offers. it’s only $5000 worth of stuff, but that would make such a difference to her life. it’s all kitchenware and electronics too, and mum’s been wanting to do up the kitchen for ages!
